Children's Ministry Certificate Taster Session

Come and find out about the year-long CMC course, spread over 13 sessions, in this Taster Session

Who is this for?

Anyone who wants to explore how their church might connect with children and families. Whether your church has, children associated with it or not, you are welcome. Whether you are a volunteer of a church children’s group, such as a Toddler group, Messy Church, Sunday School, or your local school, you are welcome. If you are in a paid role, you are welcome. Why not come with a few others from your church?

This is what some previous CMC students say:

“You may come on the course expecting to find some ‘magic’ answers on how to perfect the work you currently do with children, whether that is leading children on a Sunday or running a toddler group. But, it’s so much more. It will open your eyes to how integral our work with children and families is to the work of the church and the impact that we can have.” Susanne (church volunteer & reception teacher)

“Be open about the course, enjoy it, pray into it, learn from others and listen to others on how they do things in either their churches or their day-to-day life. Use what you learn in your ministry, and don’t be worried to bring it forward to your church or PCC. Don’t be afraid to change things, give things a go. Use the Lord’s words from your heart. Brilliant course overall. Thank you to the team, you are amazing.” (Karl: Church volunteer)
