DESCRIPTION:The cursillo movement is an established Christian movement originating in Spain. Many UK dioceses have their own Cursillo group. Peterborough has had a group for 20 years. \n\n\n\nThe weekend is staffed by lay persons but there are clergy spiritual advisers on the team. We reach out to lay and clergy alike. \n\n\n\nThe weekend flows through a series of talks\, discussions\, meditations and worship. The structure and material is established and secure. Safeguarding and well being is at the forefront for ‘staff’ and attendees alike. \n\n\n\nAttendees are called ‘pilgrims’ because the weekend is all about a personal journey….Prepare to experience God’s love in the beauty of Launde. DESCRIPTION:The Rural Mission and Ministry Course is designed for lay and ordained church leaders across the denominations entering a rural appointment\, and those already in rural ministry who feel the need for a ‘refresher’. \n\n\n\nThe two-day programme (10 – 11 November) employs a variety of approaches including practical sessions\, group work and workshops led by practitioners\, and includes sessions on understanding rural contexts\, mission and growth\, leadership\, farming and work with children and young people in the countryside. \n\n\n\nThe Rural Mission and Ministry Course continues to develop & offers a unique rural\, ecumenical focus which we’re well-known for here at the ARC.
