Models of Ministry 2: Creative Approaches in Rural Ministry
A Session with the Revd Caroline Pinchbeck.
Caroline Pinchbeck is Rector of five churches in York Diocese, Area Dean and Diocesan Rural Advisor. Prior to working in York, she was the Diocese of Canterbury’s Director of the Communities and Partnerships Framework. The Communities and Partnerships portfolio of work included all aspects of social justice issues including church buildings, tourism and pilgrimage, modern slavery, food banks, credit unions, environmental issues, ecumenism, refugees, disability, and inclusion. The work was delivered through partnerships with both Public and Voluntary sector stakeholders both regionally and nationally, and incorporated within it elements of rural proofing.
Previous to this, Caroline was Rural Life Adviser for the two dioceses of Canterbury and Rochester; before that has ministered in Cornwall and Lincolnshire amongst other places for both the Anglican and Methodist churches. Before entering ordained ministry, Caroline worked in the community and voluntary sector with the rehabilitation of ex-offenders.
