This meeting takes place online.

Jane Lewis will lead this session. A new network for those who lead on collective worship in primary schools. The meetings will be held each term and will contain news and updates about collective worship, sharing of good practice and speakers with expertise in collective worship. This will be via Zoom.

The Bishop's Council is the Standing Committee of the Diocesan Synod . The Council is responsible for considering matters of policy, advising the Diocesan Bishop and determining how matters should be taken forward to the Diocesan Synod for further consideration. It is simultaneously the Executive Committee of Diocesan Synod and the Board of Directors of the Board of Finance.

This day provides an opportunity for teachers new to working in Church schools whether they be Early Career teachers, or more experienced teachers. During the day we will consider what it means to work in a Church school with a special focus on RE, collective worship and SIAMS (Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools). The day will be hosted by Jane Lewis, but will involve other providers with expertise in different areas of working in a Church school.

The Bishop of Peterborough is assisted by her senior staff, called the Bishop’s Management Group (BMG), which includes the suffragan bishop, the dean, the diocesan secretary, the two archdeacons, her chaplain, and the adviser for women’s ministry. The group meets monthly and is joined regularly by the Diocesan Safeguarding Adviser, Registrar, Diocesan Director of Ordinands and Clergy Training Officer.
