The Leading your Church into Growth (LyCiG) Spring National Conference is an open seminar with interactive talks, practical exercises, workshops and time and space for personal reflection. Times of informal conversation provide opportunities for LyCiG team members to answer questions and to explore the profile of individual churches. Middle Leaders Day 2
The second of a two day course. Following on from Day1, participants will be supported in identifying how to review the impact of their planned curriculum through a range of monitoring activities. The day will conclude with support and guidance around development planning. This will include opportunities for participants to pull together 'next steps' from both days into a succinct subject development plan. Participants should bring documentation linked to the subject for which they are responsible and a sample of pupil books. It is essential that participants complete both days of training. Led by Andrew Lakatos at Bouverie Court, 6 The Lakes, Bedford Road, Northampton, NN4 7YD.

Headteachers' Conference
Unleashing Great Leadership Professor Toby Greany will share his research on how policy and practice interact to shape educational opportunities and outcomes, in particular across local systems and through networks, and the nature and role of leadership in these processes. His presentation will draw on his current UK-wide research into Sustainable School Leadership, which is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council. Then Dr Krish Kandiah OBE will talk about The Sanctuary Foundation that he founded and his time as Chair of the Adoption and Special Guardianship Leadership Board, sharing his perspective on the leadership of support for vulnerable children and families. Finally, Professor David Hopkins will share the research from his latest book ‘Unleashing Greatness – A Strategy for School Improvement’. This will be held at Kettering Park Hotel, Kettering Parkway, Kettering NN15 6XT

Governors Termly Conference: The Governance of SEND
Gary Aubin, who lectures on the Church of England NPQEL programme, will address the conference and help us consider: - the state of the nation in relation to SEND - the role of governors in relation to SEND - good and poor proxies for inclusion - effective governor practices.

The Diocesan Advisory Committee (the DAC) is a statutory diocesan committee appointed by the Bishop. It offers advice to Parochial Church Councils (PCCs) and the Chancellor of the Diocese and Archdeacons, in relation to proposed works and matters affecting church buildings, their contents and churchyards, having due regard to the role of a church as a local centre of worship and mission. It also advises on the care and development of church buildings more generally. All DAC can only be attended by those on the DAC Board.
