Leading A Church Plant - Online Training Event
HOW DO CHURCHES ACTUALLY GET PLANTED?
Starting a church plant is both exciting and daunting. In the second of this series of three we'll consider the early stages of the journey, look at various models of church plants, and explore the distinct and important roles of the planting team, the sending church, and the diocese (or equivalent) sponsoring and authorising the church plant.
This is part two of the Leading a Church Plant series, but can also be attended as a standalone event. Church planting can appear complicated and confusing, yet it is a great way of reaching new people with the gospel. Aimed at those at the coalface, each session will look at the basic principles and practice of church planting and apply them into your current context.
This series, led by John Valentine, an experienced practitioner, is for those who are wondering about leading a church plant, leaders of sending churches, and those who are in the early stages of planting. They will plot a clear course from beginnings to the actual launch and into the first three years of the life of a church plant.
Tickets cost £6 and can be purchased here but numbers are limited for this event and bookings will close on Sunday 8 May.
