Russ Beese has been appointed as Diocesan Secretary/ Chief Executive Officer.
The Diocesan Secretary/CEO is the administrative head of the Diocese, responsible for financial and operational management. Russ joins us from Yeldall Manor, a Christian residential recovery centre, where he is Director of Operations leading organisational transformation, strengthening governance and safeguarding long-term sustainability.
Alongside senior charity leadership, Russ has extensive experience in church life and ministry, having served on senior leadership teams within multi-congregational church networks. Earlier in his career, he was a teacher and school Principal, combining educational leadership with a deep commitment to Christian ethos, formation and pastoral care.
Responding to the announcement Russ said: ‘At the heart of my vocation is a desire to see God’s Kingdom come, creating healthy, well-governed organisations in which people can flourish, discover their calling, and find their place in the Body of Christ.’
Russ is married to Rebecca, has three wonderful children, Evie, Eliza and Isaac, and a much-loved (and slightly crazy) rescue dog called Poppy. Russ loves reading and supporting his beloved and much maligned West Bromwich Albion.
