At the end of February the Safeguarding audit of the Diocese by the INEQE Safeguarding Group will start. This is part of a national programme, commissioned by the Archbishop’s Council in response to the recommendations of the IICSA Enquiry, to conduct an independent and comprehensive audit of all Church of England dioceses and cathedrals. Please be aware that between February and July, this audit will impact the speed the safeguarding team can respond to non urgent issues. Please make sure you direct your queries to safeguarding@peterborough-diocese.org.uk rather than to individual contacts. It will also affect the level of training available.
