The cursillo movement is an established Christian movement originating in Spain. Many UK dioceses have their own Cursillo group. Peterborough has had a group for 20 years.
The weekend is staffed by lay persons but there are clergy spiritual advisers on the team. We reach out to lay and clergy alike.
The weekend flows through a series of talks, discussions, meditations and worship. The structure and material is established and secure. Safeguarding and well being is at the forefront for ‘staff’ and attendees alike.
Attendees are called ‘pilgrims’ because the weekend is all about a personal journey….Prepare to experience God’s love in the beauty of Launde. Enjoy the food and welcoming, friendly Cursillo staff.
