Headteachers’ Conference 2026 – Reinvigorating and Refreshing Your Christian Vision
A day of inspiration, reflection and renewed purpose for Church school leaders.
How can your school’s theologically rooted Christian vision remain relevant, inspiring and transformative in an ever-changing educational landscape?
Join us for our Autumn Headteachers’ Conference as we explore how Christian vision shapes school culture, leadership and the flourishing of pupils and adults.
Led by Trevor Cooling and Andy Wolfe, this conference offers an opportunity to reflect on the foundations of Church school education, consider emerging challenges and reconnect with the deeper purpose of Christian leadership.
What will we explore?
- Understanding our context: The importance of recognising your school’s local and national context.
- Responding to change: How national developments influence Christian vision, values and school culture.
- Theologically rooted vision: What it really means for a school’s vision to be grounded in Christian theology.
- Faith in everyday school life: How ordinary theology is expressed through relationships, decisions and daily practice.
- Flourishing in education: Exploring teaching as a vocation in which educators can flourish.
- Leadership under pressure: How school leaders can flourish amid uncertainty and competing demands.
- Flourishing together: Recognising leadership and school improvement as a collective endeavour.
This is an opportunity to step away from the pressures of daily school life, engage in meaningful professional dialogue and return to your school with fresh perspectives and renewed inspiration.
