Welcome to Revd Lex Bradley-Stow

The Revd Lex Bradley-Stow has been appointed Growing Faith Chaplain at Peterborough Cathedral, St John the Baptist, and Chaplain of The King’s (The Cathedral) School.

Revd Lex brings a wealth of experience and a deep commitment to nurturing the faith and well-being of children and young people. Her journey began as a youth worker in schools in her hometown of Milton Keynes, followed by a period as a Religious Studies teacher. She later found great joy in school chaplaincy, which she embraced wholeheartedly while serving as Assistant Chaplain at Berkhamsted School in Hertfordshire.

Revd Lex’s spiritual journey led her to Ridley Hall Theological College in Cambridge, where she studied for ordination and earned a master’s degree. Following her ordination, she served in seven rural parishes in Oxfordshire, fostering community and faith over three and a half fulfilling years.

Her role is part of a shared appointment with Peterborough Cathedral, St John the Baptist Church, and The King’s (The Cathedral) School, aligning with the Church of England’s national Growing Faith initiative which seeks to nurture the spiritual growth of children and young people. Her time will be dedicated to each of these three areas over the course of the week.

Revd Lex is passionate about helping young people discover and develop their own personal faith, building meaningful connections, and bringing joy to all she meets. She is also a published author and educator on childhood and adolescent bereavement and is a strong advocate for diversity, inclusion, and ensuring everyone feels embraced by God’s love.
