St Peter's are passionate about seeing transformation in the lives of young people in Oundle and the surrounding area and is excited to be one of the lead churches in the Diocese implementing the national Growing Faith initiative.
The Youth Minister will be rooted in St Peter’s Church, with responsibility for implementing the vision for work with young people, also having a wider remit to have a positive impact in local schools and in the wider community with Souster Youth. You will work as part of a larger team providing pastoral care to young people in the Oundle area and those connected with our schools, as well as making and taking opportunities to embody and share the Good News with young people.
Location: Oundle and Thrapston
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000p/a (depending on qualifications and experience)
Hours: 37.5 per week including Sundays and occasional evenings/weekends (this includes flexible hours and a clear and consistent weekly day of rest)
Transport: Employee to provide own vehicle (including a clean licence and business insurance)
Holiday: 25 working days plus bank holidays
Probation: 3 months
