The Peterborough Diocesan Board of Finance is seeking a dedicated volunteer to serve as Chairperson for our Audit Committee. This is a unique opportunity to contribute your skills towards ensuring transparency and accountability within our organisation while supporting our mission.
As the Volunteer Chairperson of the Audit Committee, you will play a crucial role in overseeing our financial processes and practices and our wider governance arrangements.
Ideally you will have the following experience/qualifications:
• Experience in accounting, auditing, finance, or a related field (professional experience preferred but not required).
• Familiarity with financial management and governance principles within a Charity context.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
• Integrity, objectivity, and a commitment to upholding ethical standards.
