Rector of The Crick Benefice

The Benefice of Crick & Yelvertoft w Clay Coton & Lilbourne

This is an exciting time to be joining Peterborough Diocese and this benefice of three lively and united churches that are looking for someone to lead them into the next phase of their life together. The diocese is praying, dreaming, consulting and planning about the way ahead for our mission and ministry. There are plenty of challenges and also many wonderful blessings and opportunities. God is good and we are confident that our future is in his hands.

These three churches work well together across the benefice. The relationships between the parishes are excellent and this has built a strong ‘can do’ spirit.

We are looking for a Rector who:

  • places Jesus at the centre.

  • will give priority to developing people.

  • demonstrates strong emotional intelligence.

  • is team-based.

  • will encourage further collaboration between the parishes.

  • will help us innovate with different styles of worship and support existing ones.

  • is pastoral.

  • will help our three churches to grow.

You will be supported by “a well-organised and committed bunch” who will work with you and pray for you regularly. They will do everything they can to help you feel welcome. The Churchwardens have produced a short welcome video.

Could this be you?
