The Diocesan Board of Education oversees the provision of Church schools in the Diocese of Peterborough, it is a statutory body committed to its mission of promoting education for life, which is deeply Christian and serves the common good. The current board consists of members nominated by the Bishop; clergy and lay people elected by the Diocesan Synod amd members co opeted by the board with experience of church schools in the diocese and other areas of work with which the board is concerned. The board is supported by the Diocesan Director of Education and other members of the education team. The Venerable Richard Ormston, Archdeacon of Northampton is the current Chair of the board.
