St Mary the Virgin Church, Finedon has been awarded a grant by The National Lottery Heritage Fund to create an inclusive and accessible space for community and educational activities and social events.

On 1 February, Bishop Debbie joined the congregation of St John’s Church, Corby for their Mission Focus Sunday, a service dedicated to celebrating and exploring the work of the church’s own initiative: The Chapel Gym. The service highlighted the gym’s story, its mission values, and included the commissioning of 12 new gym chaplains.
Launde Abbey welcomed their new Deputy Warden, the Revd Anna Walker, in a service of welcome on Tuesday 3 February. The licensing service, held in the chapel at Launde, was led by the Bishop of Leicester alongside Bishop Debbie and was full of music, prayer and celebration, with staff, volunteers, trustees and friends of Launde Abbey present.
The Archbishop of Canterbury, the Most Reverend and Right Honourable Dame Sarah Mullally, was formally reintroduced to the House of Lords on Thursday 5 February, supported by The Most Revd and Rt Hon Stephen Cottrell, the Archbishop of York, and Rt Revd Debbie Sellin, the Bishop of Peterborough.
On Friday, 30 January, Peterborough Cathedral held a commemoration and wreath laying service in tribute to Katharine of Aragon as part of their annual service honouring the Queen.
