We are currently looking to engage an Independent Chair for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisory Panel which brings together expertise, knowledge and experience from Diocesan officers, advisory and pastoral staff together with Statutory Local Government, Police and Probation Services.
The successful applicant should have sufficient experience of working within the public or voluntary sector at a senior level to command respect within a multi-agency Panel of agency representatives, including working knowledge of the Statutory frameworks for Safeguarding of children and adults, including legislation, government guidance and the highest standards of practice.
